Tribute & Message From The Family

Shane Ralph Solesbee, 43, of 130 Edwards Road, Inman, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021. Born in Spartanburg, SC on May 21, 1978, he was a faithful, loving husband and soulmate of 26 years to his best friend, Cindy Garrett Solesbee. He was the son of Jane Lawson Hendrix and the late Charles William Solesbee. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters; Darien Waldo (Gene Waldo), Corie Solesbee (Des Smith), and Gracie Solesbee; one grandson, Wyatt "Nu-Gene" Waldo, and his Mother-in-Law, Kathy Lawson. He is also survived by three brothers; Michael Solesbee, Chris Solesbee, and Glenn Prather, and three sisters; Heather Engelhardt, Mandy Hendrix, and Tosha Prather. He is also survived by many family members and friends who he loved dearly. He was predeceased by a daughter, Shayna Rae Solesbee, and a brother, Joshua Solesbee.
He was a patient, kind, dedicated, faithful, and loving family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He was a hard worker, employed at Tow Spartanburg in Campobello, SC. Shane had a great sense of humor and could tell stories like no other. He was a man of strong faith who loved to fish and ride motorcycles. He also loved spending time with family and friends. Shane was the type of man that would help anyone that he could and will be missed and loved by all who knew him. He lived and loved more in his 43 years than most people get to do in two lifetimes. His wife will always remember him as the most romantic, kind, protective, loving man she has ever known, and will love him always and forever and never forget him. His daughter Corie liked to refer to him as; The man, The myth, The legend, and his youngest daughter, Gracie, has fond memories of him making Minnie Mouse pancakes and loves him very much. Shane's oldest daughter, Darien remembers that he never missed any event or special occasion for them and that he was always on her side.
The family will conduct a memorial service for Shane on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Life Changers church located at 8349 Valley Falls Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316 at 4 p.m. officiated by Pastor Travis Carter and Mr. Joseph Wofford. The family is at the home.
